Welcome

Here at Rupanyup Primary School, we believe in a holistic approach to developing students’ academic, emotional and social growth. Our diverse and knowledge-rich curriculum paired with Health and Wellbeing programs nurtures the whole child throughout their learning journey. Students are encouraged to be inquisitive, dream big and make positive contributions to the community.

Rupanyup Primary School is a member of the Dunmunkle Cluster, a group of five schools that have long shared resources, Professional Development, staff and planning. Our students benefit from a wide variety of experiences through cultural performances, sport and excursions.

The curriculum provides carefully planned and mapped educational opportunities in Literacy, Mathematics, Science, History, LOTE (Spanish), Physical Education and Visual Arts. Class sizes are small, giving our school a strong sense of community while providing the time and space for every student to reach their full potential.

Our Values

Rupanyup Primary School has a values program that helps guide the way we conduct ourselves inside and outside of school. We help instil these guiding principles by focusing on a new value every three weeks within the classroom.

Principal Message

On behalf of Rupanyup Primary School, I would like to extend to you and your family a very warm welcome. Our school is committed to the academic, social and personal development of our students. This is supported by our five school values – Integrity, Perseverance, Respect, Responsibility and Co-operation.

At Rupanyup Primary School we are committed to developing a caring, accepting and inclusive community and aim to provide open-ended approaches to learning and progress which stimulate flexibility and adaptability. We encourage our young learners to be inquisitive, to question and to wonder. Our carefully designed and well executed curriculum plays a significant role in the success of our school. This ensures students can reach their full potential and achieve the appropriate learning outcomes in all curriculum areas.

Rupanyup Primary School has a dedicated staff who strive for high standards in teaching and learning by continually improving their own professional development and expertise to ensure students are provided with a high-quality education. We ensure the use of data to discover the most effective ways to provide the best possible educational programs.

Our school prides itself in being able to meet the educational and social challenges facing our community. The parent/home school partnership is an integral part of our school. Our practice has been to ensure the participation of parents through several forums and programs. We have developed strong community links by maintaining open lines of communication with all members of our rich and diverse community.

We are extremely proud of our school and encourage you to explore our website further to experience more of the wonderful things we do here at Rupanyup Primary School. We invite you to tour our school, discuss your child’s needs and see firsthand what we have to offer. I have an open-door policy and urge all parents to take this opportunity to discuss any issues with me so that we can move forward together. We hope you decide to be part of our community and continue a long tradition of community contribution and involvement.
