Rupanyup Primary School is committed to developing student leadership, supporting students to become confident and capable contributors within both the school and the wider community. Through our focus on leadership, students build confidence, strengthen relationships and develop the skills needed to work effectively with others and achieve shared goals.
Student leaders have the opportunity to attend leadership development events at the beginning of the year, where they build their skills, confidence and understanding of effective leadership. Throughout their roles, students are supported to demonstrate and uphold our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Persistence and Aspire.
All students in the Senior class are recognised as leaders within our school. Through the Buddy program and a range of school responsibilities, they are provided with ongoing opportunities to lead, support younger students and contribute positively to the school community.
Formal leadership roles include School Captains and House Captains, with students encouraged to lead by example and positively influence our school culture.
