Kinder Transition

Rupanyup Primary School is committed to ensuring a smooth and positive transition from Preschool and Early Learning programs into Foundation.

Through strong partnerships with local kinders and educators, we support reciprocal visits that build familiarity, confidence and connection. Our transition program includes opportunities for our Junior students to visit the local kinder, as well as for kinder students to attend the school throughout Term 4 in the year prior to starting school. These visits gradually increase in length throughout the term, culminating in the whole-state Transition day in December.

This carefully planned approach focuses on relationship building, continuity of learning and equity, ensuring all students feel confident, connected and ready to begin their school journey.
